School of Taiji Quan

Taiji Quan more commonly known as Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese Exercise, which was developed over 800 years ago.

It has been medically prooven to reduce stress and improve health, due to its healing benefits of such conditions as stress, artheritius, anxiety, poor circulation it is an ideal pursuit for those in their senior years and has become a very succesful exercise resigme.

Anybody can take up Tai Chi, you dont need to be elderly, it has something for everyone, whether you want to learn Tai Chi; to aid you with a medical condition or to add a better quality of health or if you are interested in learning the many weapon's forms or even the Self defence side.

Many schools tend to either cater towards the health side or martial side of Tai Chi, whereas I believe it is important to find out what the student is after in the first instance and tailor a lesson plan that suits the individual rather than teach the areas of tai chi that interest myself, also with the added curriculums of Qigong and Xingyi we offer a much more in depth curriculum of Tai Chi.

We are a recognised school with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and our instructors have been assessed and approved by this body.
